Industrial water, also called service water, is used for cooling, production processes or rinsing in industrial applications. Rain water, well water, river water or brackish water can be used for industrial water treatment.
The design of systems for the treatment of service water is carried out in close cooperation with the customer. Depending on the application, various different water treatment techniques such as filtration, ion exchange or membrane technologies can be used.
